After the six days of testing that took place on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, find the essential statistics and figures to remember by the start of the 2020 Formula 1 season.
Motorsport.com offers you a global assessment of the 2020 winter tests, highlighting the best lap times of the drivers, as well as the mileage of each team and each engine manufacturer.

Pirelli estimates of tire differences
Even if the tires remain the same as in 2019, the cars have evolved and have naturally become more efficient. Also, the basic deviations announced last year after the winter tests have been modified, all the more since Pirelli increased the minimum pressures for these tests, with 1.5 psi more at the front and 2.0 more psi at the rear. A situation that should be the norm this year to deal with the greatest loads suffered by these tires developed in late 2018.

As a reminder: five types of slick compounds were available during these first three days, classified from the hardest (C1) to the softest (C5). During each race weekend, Pirelli will bring tires named soft (red), medium (yellow) and hard (white), the compounds of which will vary from one circuit to another.
